No watch.

I stopped wearing watches. (Time freezes when I'm with u)

What's wrong with me? Cheesy.

FIME FEST.. ?

I had commercial class today. I was so looking forward to it. I love this subject. Mr. Jason was s'pose to come in. But wait? Mr. Daniel? Daniel Bong? I blinked. There was no mistake, it's HIM. He placed his bundle of lecture materials on the desk, look at us and did a dramatic freezing motion. "No! Dun leave! I'm just here for a session, JUST for this week okay? Mr.Jason is coming back next week" he assures us, then he walked out hurriedly.

Weeeell, I never did have any intention of leaving. Honest. I dun travel ALLLL the way to KL to skip the only class I have that day. Oh but poor Mr. Daniel Bong, (a lil' history here..) he taught law of trust, HAD 2 groups, but both dwindled into nothing. I was in 1 of his group, and there were only 2 students left by week 3 - Me and my friend (we really enjoyed that private tutoring, worth our fees paid, haha). But we were also there to tell him that we're not joining his class anymore. Our group was shut down, his other group met the same fate. Tragic :'(

Anyway, he (yah, Mr.Bong) entered class moments later, shut the door and gleefully make an announcement that made me wonder why I'm still here, right now, in this class, breathing the same polluted air, as him.

"Alright class!" he picked up his bundle of photocopied materials "Time for a TIME TEST. MUEHEHEHE" sinister was his laughter. (the laughing part was my imagination, i hope.) Sneaky lil'...! Pay back time huh? No wonder he was persuading us not to pack our bags and run for our lives la.
Not like I was going to run anyway, I found his class informative, although sometimes too deep, when he's in his own world of trust. Definitely, superbly well read for a 22year-old(?) fresh graduate. He was an international mooter, the moot team coached by him this year, needless to say, championed the international moot competition in Korea. However, I wonder, maybe he was fine-tuned to be so deep that students like us can't quite catch him at times??

Anyway, back to da problem at hand Misterrr. Wat's this? =.=

I took the unwelcome-ed sheet (u can pronounce it as 'shit', i'm cool) of problem from him and scanne... WAIT. My heart skipped a beat.

MUEHEHEHE, I RECOGNIZE THIS QUESTION. IT'S ONE OF THE QUESTION AMONG MR.JASON'S SAMPLE ANSWER, I SAW IT THIS MORNING.

I didn't laugh out loud okay. I remember see-ing this exact question in one of the sample answer Jason printed out for us. Haha. Then Daniel Bong says its an open book test! So I magically pull out that sacred piece of material from my bag. and my neighbours saw it. Both of them keep taking it away from me for 'reference' (copy la copy la). OKAY I GIVE UP! I DUN WANNA HAVE THE SAME ANS AS U GUYS. TAKE IT.

I didn't get to use it :( good thing also la, I need this practice. So i read the question, and tried to answer on me own. Arrrr!

"Q8. Hamlet Ltd ('Hamlet'), a retailer of oil and petrol, seeks legal advice about its rights and obligations in ALL of the following situations.
(a) Hamlet agrees to buy from MacBeth Ltd 100,000 litres of crude oil from a cargo of 500,000 litres at present in a container ship. 3 other buyers also each purchase 100,00 litres from the same source. All the buyers paid 50% of the purchase price at the time of contracts. When the ship eventually arrives at the Port and unloads its cargo, it is discovered that some of the oil has leaked from the vessel and there are only 300,000 litres left."

That's part (a), the only part I manage to complete in 45mins. How sad is that?
Anyway, what do you think? Do you think Hamlet paid the 5o% like what the others buyers did?

I saw the word 'Hamlet AGREES to buy' and assumed that his contract is not that of sales but merely an 'agreement to sell' by McB. So I did the WHOLE 1.5 page on the basis that Hamlet didn't pay the 50% like how the other 3 buyers did. AND THEN, Mr. Daniel discussed it on the basis that he is a buyer and paid the 50% just like the other buyers.

Meh. GG.com.

I takut, so I balik check Examiners Report for that 2009 ques. Their comments is...so general, so plain. I think I've discussed everything that they stressed on, ie relevant statutes and case laws. But a different interpretation of the facts lead to grossly distinctive outcome from that of Mr. Daniel's. My poor virtual client didn't quite make the cut. His 'Hamlet' (who paid the partial sum) successfully argued a case. Hahah this is exam though, the facts are always vague and subject to different interpretation by students. SO, maybe I'm not wrong. Maybe there's hope :) Or maybe I am wrong.

Oh, did I mention? He wants us to pass up whatever we've written at the end of the lesson. Ringssss (half crazy, i hear it in my head). Class ended. Doris help me pass it up. I can see my handwriting at the very top of the pile. He stared down at it (silently reading? OMG. 5sec dy. Why is nobody else passing up theirs???! Block mine!) and nobody else pass up theirs. He walked out. I cabut.

PS: I'm not a Mr.Daniel-hater despite what I wrote here, it's still about the TIME TEST or Fime Fest (for those with short tongues) as per the title. Rest assured, my chest is filled with nothing but respect towards him. Remember that. and suck it in.

Updates!

Well, I notice that most of my updates recently floats up in my blog. Not that I ditch fb (still very much addicted to it!), but fb is just too open. Although I dun usually accept stranger's friend request (n acquaintance ain't friends yet k!) but still, most of the used-to-be-friends ppl in fb... I dun talk to or contact anymore..

I'd probably recognize them in the street, remember their names, have vivid memories of what we used to do and vice versa but there's just this air of stranger-ness (...?) and awkwardness so much so that we often choose to feign ignorance and pretend to have forgotten or not see the other even when we bump head on on the street or some public place.

From this, it would not be entirely wrong to make an inference to the effect that they're no better than strangers who once shared your past, or even goes to the extend of impacted and beautify it, but nonetheless remains stranger after a few years of non-communication. They prob moved on and couldn't care less about what happens to u anymore and so do u. It's sad but this happens all the time.. .. ..we crossed path but our path are not intertwined into the future :'( It's like those maths graph we used to draw in... ..maths class. The curve cuts through the X-axis, maybe once, maybe twice or thrice but in the end moves towards the opposite direction in perpetual motion. (Ugh, I'm moving too far away from my initial topic)

So yea, to sum it up, the thought of sharing info with these 'unwilling witness' (poor ppl, keep being bombarded and spammed with ur status updates :P) makes me feels reluctant. Oh! N the older generation (u know..parents and 'overly concerned' aunty uncles?), they make me shudder.

Anyway, only those who cares/curious enough to click into my blog to find out how I've been doing shall reap the boundless benefits from it! Bwahaha (thick skinned) :P

My attachment to this blog grows and blossoms by the day :) Updates shall be posted here. Keep posted peeps!

Back to business...?

As much as I LOVE going back to my business of studying, I'm having the next 3days fully planned with activities, wahaha! It's nothing to complain bout ;p

I shall study HARD and do ALL my assignments once I'm done with this Haji holiday. PROMISE! Cross-my-heart-and-hope-to-die!

PS: I'm soooo looking forward to PD! :D

MOVE!!!

That, is my motivational word. I just created that up 10secs ago :P haha why? Cuz I realize that I'm too laid back lately. Studies hav totally taken a back seat to my social life and I procrastinate like.. .. ..a boss. Hahaha procrastination is surely the thief of time, it is the grave in which opportunity is buried. How time have passed without me even fully grasping the happenings around me.

It's late and I didn't even realize it. Time for bed! Tomorrow's schedule...? Bkt with Yamaha colleagues in the morning followed by a day-trip to KL. (NOT for classes, Shopping! hehe) :D
Assignment can wait 1 more day.. Can it?

Sincerely yes,
Queen of procrastination.

A day of exploration!

Where you ask? Petaling street, Central market and Kasturi Walk! Tour guide? Doris Lee Siu Pan! Had fun? Ohhh yea :)

Anwyay, below are snippets of my adventure! Thank God for the really nice weather, it didn't rain one bit considering the rainy season :) Aihh..didn't get to take much pic though, Doris always frowns when I do >.< Haha guess she's not a pic person :p

Tadaaa! Destination 1:
Petaling street
Look at the sky! The weather! Ain't it beautiful? ;p

Destination 2:
Happy Meal...?
(This is where I meet my appetizer - creamy rich durian puffs!)
Just had to tapau some back for my Yamaha colleagues :D

Destination 3:
Central market aka Kasturi Walk! :)
This pic is just not doing justice to the place! It looks MUCH nicer in reality.
Note to self: Bring a camera next time!!

Takoyaki! Tried all 3 types! (Yes! Octopus too!) Mmm..:)<3
But the chicken one was kinda cheating, they stuffed chicken sausage in it :(

My melting choc Mint! ;p
Couldn't recall the name of the stall...but it's nice(and pricey >.<)!
LOVE the aftertaste! U just know it's not ice-cream cold but minty cold :)

Anyway, our quest for food in this foreign place (haha at least to me it is!) only last a lil' bit more than an hour. Me and Doris ain't big eaters! But I'm definitely going back! Hopefully next time, to brave through all the food stalls with a happy stomach...and a proper camera :) hehe yea, the very few pics here are all taken on my 3.2MP Nokia. That's all for today! :)

Assignments :) not :') done :'(

Ugh, i guess the title says it all. BACK TO WORK.

NO WAIT! I wanna explain the title, smiley n all (Bwahaha u can't deter me, I wanna talk). Generally I don't hate assignments which explains the smile. But I hate deadlines, I mean I hate pursue-ing deadlines :( u know?
Anxiety and stress kicks in, and I'll go to my blog. I'll start rambling nonsense for ppl (like u) to read. BACK TO WORK.

Back to life!

Alrite!

I'm gonna summon u from the dead oh-ancient-mighty-long-forgotten blog.
(Side complain: HUH! It's always been like that! You come alive, you go dead, then the cycle repeats x100!)

Therefore, "Arise and thrive! My blessings goes with you!"

Sweet Gemas! :)

Once upon a time...No! What's this..I mean last Friday, i took a trip down to my grandma house in Gemas. A house that is usually fully packed to the point of near explosion became so empty when it wasn't Chinese New Year. There's only my grandma, an aunty and a cousin from Singapore who's having his school holiday. Oh, and my family. Other than that, there's nobody, not the usual 9 families.

On the one hand, there's no need to squeeze 12people a room like we usually do ( and there's 5 room in the house, imagine that! ), on the other hand.. .. ..there's no other hand. This is good hehe, excellent! Sleeping in grandma house without the usual crowd once in a while actually feels refreshing! Why?

1. No shower congestion. Good.
2. Not having to ans a thousand times the SAME questions bout studies n love life etc to each and every 'overly-concern' aunt n uncles. Perfect!! Ding!

Other than that, my grandma has the most adorable pets in town. 2 dogs and just recently, an addition of a cat with 3 ADORABLE kittens! Swoon. ( ok, grandma has chickens n ducks too, i dun count them pets, more like meals hehe.. hehehe :P kidding ) Apart from that, i always knew i have a soft spot for dogs, but i never knew i could love cats so much!

The first encounter with 'xiao kuai' (the mother cat) was most unforgettable, almost funny really. I was eating dinner in the kitchen when i realize that my feet is all warm and fuzzy. "Ahhh...new carpet.." I thought. Then it stuck me that there's no way there'll be a carpet in the kitchen, not such comfy one at least, i look down n there she was, cuddling around my feet, curiously looking up at me. Love at first sight? Oh yeah :)

OK, this was not originally taken for the purpose of showing off the dining table, but it's the only shot (half-shot) of the dining table i have :)

PS: I just realise I left your head out of the picture grandma.. I.. I.. beheaded you!!! Oh forgive your unfilial granddaughter. I'm repenting.

Xiao Kuai the (warm and fuzzy) mother cat! <3

Upon meeting the mom and finding out about her 3 kittens, me and cousy venture out to hunt for them. (Well actually we saw them right after we step out of the house la) We approach them maybe a lil' too fast, 2 fled under the shoe shelf and one stood back to fight for his siblings. So small, so tiny, yet.. i admire his spirit. We could see it was shaking a bit but it stood its ground. I decided right then this he's my favorite among the 3. Blackie :)

My fragile lil' fighter!

So, that's bout all for now! Much as i like dogs, this post is specially dedicated to Ah Ma's cat and my new found love for these cuddly creation of God :)

It's THAT time of the year again!

Oh yea.. THAT. Exams!!! Been sitting it for the past 13years!
Still.. I dread it. Who doesn't?
And.. I realize it's kind of different now compare to secondary school.
For one thing.. all that I need for exam used to be found in prescribed gov textbooks
Or.. a whole list of reference books found in bookstores.
Now.. Books are still in abundance (11kg!! of books posted from London)
But.. It's not enough!
We... need to read more.
There's.. a whole online legal database of case law, articles, journals, reports....
And.. not to mention, the piles of college home-grown notes.
Bah.. studying anything is hard.
Despite that.. failure rate is unusually high here.
Statistics.. shows that only 1/3 of every 1st years will make it to the final year..
That means.. between the 2 person beside me and me, only 1 will make it through at 1 go.
Well.. that's gonna be me, I hope.
Ok.. back to reading, writing, gathering and personalizing my own substantial amount of notes. (Oh yes, mugging is not top priority here, not now at least)

PS: How in the world do you expect us to write 6 sides of answers in 45mins Ms Munita??! I'm not sorry I(or the whole class) can't, it's only normal. We haven't been teaching UK politics for the past 20years and we're no super humans. We don't write at the speed of light.
